Volunteer

Buddy greets a patient at Mission HouseMission Hospice volunteers are a special kind of people – they are the heart and soul of our care. Each year, Mission Hospice volunteers donate thousands of hours of their time.

Direct care volunteers offer vitally important emotional and social support to our patients and their families, providing companionship, logistical assistance, and more.

Indirect care volunteers offer their time and talents in the office, assisting with mailings, special events and administrative tasks.

Mission Hospice Auxiliary volunteers are dedicated to raising funds and promoting awareness of the services provided by Mission Hospice & Home Care.

Community Ambassadors support all kinds of educational events, presentations, and workshops throughout our community.

We welcome new volunteers! If you’re interested in learning more about volunteering with Mission Hospice, contact Volunteer Services Director Craig Schroeder at 650.532.2323 or by email.
