Conversation with Ken Ross: How it all began
January 7, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Our first Community Conversation of 2021 will take us back to the beginnings of the hospice movement, and the work done by Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross to change the way people die in the US.
Ken Ross, son of Dr. Kübler-Ross, will present on his mother’s work and legacy. Growing up, he accompanied his mother on her extensive travels around the world, while witnessing her lectures and workshops. He was the principal care provider for his mother in the last 9 years of her life, until her death in 2004.
Ken is the founder and president of the EKR Foundation. For more than twelve years, Ken has spoken about his mother’s legacy for hospices and various conferences in North and South America, Asia, and Europe.
