*VIRTUAL* Author Talk: Dale Larson, PhD, The Helper’s Journey

The power of empathy and compassion is revolutionizing our approach to person-centered counseling and caregiving. Drawing from the field of positive psychology, The Helper’s Journey explores the brighter side of human nature and helping. Real-world caregiver experience in hospice and palliative care, oncology, and counseling bring to light fresh perspectives.
Dale G. Larson (BA, University of Chicago; PhD, U.C. Berkeley), is Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. A clinician and researcher, he is a Fulbright Scholar, a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, and member of the International Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement.
He is a frequent keynote speaker at national and international conferences and received the Association for Death Education and Counseling Death Educator Award in 2016.
